The Navajo Loop Trail starts and finishes at one of the most popular points in Bryce Canyon National Park, Sunset Point. If features incredible views, a unique trail, some steep inclines, and is one of the most popular hikes in the park. It is worth noting, that one portion of this loop is closed in winter, making it just an out and back hike.
Distance: 1.6 Miles Round Trip (2.6 km)
Elevation Gain: 515 feet (157 meters)
Difficulty: Easy to Intermediate
Duration (Hike Time): 1-2 hours
Trailhead: Sunset Point
Dogs: Not Allowed
Route
The Navajo Loop trail is a simple loop that can be done in either direction, but most hikers go down Wall Street, and up Two Bridges. In winter, hikers will just go down and back up Two Bridges since Wall Street is closed.
Quite simply, this is one of the best hikes in the entire park, and if you had only a couple hours total, this would be a must do portion of Bryce! If you have extra time, we highly recommend that you extend this hike and combine it with the Queen’s Garden trail, where you’ll about 3 miles to your hike distance.
